Tierramano’s guiding purpose is to empower people and organizations to unlock their fullest potential. Our family-founded company—born from the Spanish words “Tierra” (land) and “Hermano” (brother)—is the legacy of the Goldstein brothers: David, Daniel, and Samuel, alongside their father Jeremy Goldstein. Together, we share a vision of crafting a better future, building value not just for today, but for generations to come. We seek to work with owners who view their business as their baby and thus desire a long-term home and partner to help grow the business versus a spot on an ever accelerating 3-year treadmill which is typical of a sale to Private Equity.
At Tierramano, our ambition is to compound long-term intrinsic value by conscientiously buying and nurturing great businesses and choice commercial real estate. Our focus is to strategically buy or partner with 1-2 outstanding companies and acquire 1-2 exceptional commercial properties each year. Our goal is to become the sanctuary for family and founder-owned businesses, a place where your life's work is not just continued, but cherished and elevated. We understand that for some, their enterprise is more than a business—it's a testament to a lifetime of dedication. That's why we are not just investors but partners, committed to preserving and enhancing the legacy you’ve built.
The Goldstein family brings a wealth of experience, grounded in the conviction that greatness is achieved incrementally—day by day, through unyielding hard work, discipline, and integrity. This philosophy is woven into the fabric of our operations and reflects our core belief that success should be a shared journey. That’s why we celebrate collective achievements, ensuring everyone in our organization partakes in the fruits of our shared endeavors.
Over the years, we have seen a special kind of business owner who is looking for a long-term home for their company or a partnership that would not only preserve, but also enrich their legacy. Core to our approach is our hands on experience building companies as we did with Navitar, Special Optics, Pixelink and many others. We know first-hand the joys and challenges of running a business. We create value through building enduring companies and not with financial wizardry and loads of debt.
We stand by the conviction that the world has enough private equity firms focused on short-term gains. The not-so-small to mid-sized companies, however, are in dire need of a committed ally who is dedicated to helping them realize their long-term aspirations. We’ve seen too many owners experience regret after selling their companies to organizations where the primary focus is cost cutting and maximizing short-term returns. When cost cutting means laying off dedicated staff that have been the pillars and long-term family members to the company owners, we felt their needed to be an alternative and so we created Tierramano.

We started Tierramano to offer an alternative to traditional private equity and so-called strategics through a combination of our core beliefs
We believe great businesses are rare and we think it makes more sense to hold and build great businesses for the long term versus selling every 3-4 years. We empower our teams to think about building and enduring business for decades and not quarters.
We believe that people want to have a purpose and do meaningful work and have a positive impact, create a better future for their families, and achieve their potential. Our purpose is to empower people and organizations to reach their full potential. This spans helping people grow and develop in their careers, building companies that create value for their customers and employees and delivering great results so our partners can achieve their missions.
We are both investors and operators with hands on experience building companies. Some things can only be learned through experience and we believe our experience as operators makes us better investors.
Our goal is to continue to grow every business for decades by concentrating on growing sales, building the brands and developing new products. Our life mission is to constantly learn and grow and grow our businesses in the process.
